“Halle Berry Shares Contrasting Reactions from Her Children Towards Horror Films”
Halle Berry, 57, recently talked about her upcoming horror film “Never Let Go” in an interview with Extra at CinemaCon.
She mentioned her hesitation about whether her two children, Nahla (16) and Maceo-Robert (10), would be watching the scary movie when it premieres in the fall.Halle shared that while her 16-year-old daughter Nahla might enjoy “Never Let Go” due to her interest in horror, she feels it wouldn’t be suitable for her 10-year-old son Maceo-Robert.
She explained that Maceo-Robert had a strong reaction to a scary movie trailer, causing him to have difficulty going to bed alone for a year. So, she’s decided it’s best for him not to watch it.
Despite her son not being able to watch the movie, Halle Berry expressed that working on “Never Let Go” has deepened her appreciation for her children, calling them her most valued treasures.
The film, a psychological thriller about a family haunted by a spirit for years, explores themes of fear and the existence of evil, according to IMDb. Scheduled for release on September 27, it promises to be an intriguing exploration of the human psyche.
While Maceo may not be watching “Never Let Go” anytime soon, Halle Berry clearly cherishes moments spent watching movies with her children.
Last August, she shared a delightful experience when her daughter treated her to see “Barbie” for her birthday, accompanied by her boyfriend Van Hunt.
Halle expressed her joy, calling her daughter her “mini-me” and sharing her gratitude for the special outing. It’s evident that Halle values these bonding moments with her loved ones.
